Hispanic Heritage Celebrations
Grand Rapids Public Library
https://www.grpl.org
Hispanic Heritage Celebrations at the Grand Rapids Public Library happen yearly as a completely free series of events for our patrons. We will not be charging patrons to attend the special guest event, and we will be giving away free books written by the special guest.
At our event we celebrate the many diverse latino cultures in Grand Rapids, MI. Through the months of September and October we create programming and events that get the community together to celebrate, and learn from each other. As well as engaging patrons in meaningful community conversations to address community needs, or difficult to talk about topics.
Hispanic Heritage Celebrations keep growing each year. For the first time ever we would love to bring in a special guest to inspire and celebrate our latino community. Often we attend media interviews with TV stations regarding our celebrations.
